1. About Šapica and current availability
Šapica is a platform intended to connect dog owners and walkers in the cities and areas shown on the platform. The platform operator is identified above. These terms govern the sapicaapp.rs website, the Šapica mobile application and platform accounts.
The platform is currently in a preparation stage: public information, registration and account features, including adding a dog, are available. Walk bookings and online payments are not yet open. A displayed profile, price or description of a future feature does not confirm a booking or request payment.
Before paid services launch, the provider of each service, total price, any platform fee, payment method, cancellation, complaint and refund rules will be disclosed separately. These terms do not authorise advance charges or replace that information.
2. Age, accounts and acceptance
Owners and walkers must be at least 18 to open and use an account. Public information can be viewed without an account. A minor may not use another person’s account to independently arrange or perform walks through Šapica; youth cooperative membership is not an exception.
When registering, you confirm that you are an adult and expressly accept these terms. We record the confirmation time and terms version. This is not document-based identity verification. Accounts created before this process was introduced have no retroactively recorded confirmation.
Provide accurate, current information, use your own email and protect your password. Do not share account access. If you suspect misuse, change your password and contact support. Tell us if an account belongs to a minor so that access and related data can be addressed.
3. Platform role and walker information
Šapica provides a digital platform. Displaying a profile does not mean that the operator personally performs the walk, employs the walker or provides insurance. The identity and contractual role of the particular service provider must be clear before a future booking.
Systematic identity document, criminal record and professional qualification checks of walkers have not been introduced. A verified email, approved profile or badge does not guarantee identity, competence or a safe outcome. Experience information is user-supplied unless expressly explained otherwise.
4. Responsible conduct and dog information
Owners must provide accurate dog information and promptly disclose health needs, escape tendencies, past bites, aggressive behaviour and other known safety restrictions. Photos and descriptions must relate to a dog for which the owner is entitled to arrange care.
Walkers must not accept care they cannot safely provide. Equipment, leash, handover and instructions must be agreed in advance. Animal abuse, neglect, unauthorised off-leash walking, transferring the dog to another person or acting contrary to applicable rules are prohibited.
Impersonation, threats, harassment, discrimination, fraud, unsolicited advertising, disclosure of other people’s private data and attempts at unauthorised system access are prohibited. Do not publish document numbers, home access codes, card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
5. Photos, descriptions and reviews
You retain rights in your content. By submitting it, you allow Šapica to store, technically process and display it only as needed for platform functions and under the Privacy Policy. You do not transfer ownership or grant unrestricted advertising use of photographs.
Submit only content you have permission to use. Reviews, when available, must describe genuine experiences and must not disclose other people’s private data. Report disputed or unlawful content to the contact above, identifying the link and reason without unnecessary personal information.
Sexually explicit content, exploitation of minors, hate speech, and depictions of abuse of people or animals are prohibited. Use Report profile or content and Block user beside the relevant content. Safety and privacy shows your reports and lets you remove your own blocks. Administrators review reports and may hide content or restrict publishing and contact, recording their reasons. To appeal, contact kontakt@sapicaapp.rs.
6. Safety, incidents and absence of insurance
Šapica currently provides no insurance or guaranteed compensation fund for injuries, loss of a dog, veterinary costs or property damage. The platform cannot promise that every interaction will be risk-free. This information does not release anyone from statutory liability.
In danger, protecting people and the dog and contacting a veterinarian or the relevant emergency services take priority. Notify the owner as soon as it is safe and report the incident to Šapica by email. Šapica is not an emergency service and support is not guaranteed 24/7.
Mandatory liability and consumer protection rules apply. Nothing excludes the operator’s liability for its own actions where exclusion is not permitted by law, or removes a user’s right to legal remedies.
7. Restricting access and closing accounts
We may restrict access or content for justified reasons, including suspected fraud, an underage account, safety risks or rule violations. Action should be proportionate; you may request an explanation and review by email, unless disclosure is prohibited by law.
You may request account closure by email or use the available deletion option in settings. Closure does not remove existing legal obligations; retaining or deleting associated data depends on the purposes and legal bases explained in the Privacy Policy.
8. Contact, complaints and applicable law
Send questions, complaints and reports to kontakt@sapicaapp.rs or write to the operator’s address. Describe the issue and identify the relevant account or link. Do not send your password, card details or a copy of an identity document.
These terms are governed by Serbian law without depriving users of protections under mandatory applicable law. Seeking a solution through support does not restrict access to a competent authority or court. These terms do not impose private arbitration.
9. Changes and related documents
The current version date appears above. Material changes, particularly the launch of charging or a change of operator, will be clearly announced on the platform or by email before they apply; renewed acceptance will be requested where needed. Changes do not remove accrued statutory rights.
The Privacy Policy explains personal data processing and the Safety page provides practical guidance. Accepting these terms is neither marketing consent nor blanket consent to every use of personal data.
